Classic power boat club meeting

A few like minded people around the area are looking to start a classic powerboat club in Northland with plans to expand further afield.

The Country Club is open from 6pm every Thursday and Friday. Enjoy a delicious meal with a pint of beer or a glass of wine, share a few laughs with other committee members. If you're a member consider running for a position on the committee - the AGM is in May. If you're not a member please think about joining the team.

Paparoa news for February

Paparoa Farmer's Market dates for this month are 13th and 27th. The honey stall returns in February, the ice cream is going well as is the flounder and mussels. The Long Flat Bacon Company and the vegetable stalls are increasing in variety and quantity. There are also lovely plants from Harold and Lena Sweet and the Brownlie pickles and sauces are usually in demand.

Paparoa Tai chi - classes are underway for 2010. 12.30 to 2.00pm at the Paparoa War Memorial Hall and 7.00 to 8.00pm at 5 Hook Road. For more information contact Shirley on 431 6408.

Paparoa Show - is on February 6th 2010 at the show grounds.

Is about seniors learning how to use a computer. Courses available are beginners introduction to computers, email and the internet, word processing, file and folder management and more.
