Maungaturoto notices for December 2009/January 2010

Twilight bowls - join in the fun for the new year. Fridays from 29th January 2010 at 6pm. Registration from 5.30pm. Contact Ted Mooney on 431 8249 for more info.

Otamatea Repertory Theatre - "Outside Edge". Auditions for this production were held on December 6th and it will on stage in April 2010. Contact Peter Matheson for more information on 946 9696 or the theatre. Working bees will continue each Saturday from 9am for about three hours.

New Anglican house blessing - a new vicarage on Hurndall Street has been built and the blessing is to be held on Saturday December 12th at 1.30pm.

Would you like to be a library volunteer? Must be computer literate, you can apply at the library and leave your name and contact details. Library closed 25, 26, 27, 28 December - Open 29, 30, 31 December. New year closed 1, 2, 3, 4 January and open again on the 5th.

Reminder: $10 family membership for the 2010 year is due 1st January 2010.

Maungaturoto Fire Brigade Christmas Party

Last night the Fire Brigade held it's annual Christmas party - this year the theme was "Hawaiian Night" and 90% of the guests wore their best dressed costumes.
